1000gskinless chicken breast
1tspgarlic powder
1tsponion powder
1tspsalt
1/2tspblack pepper (freshly ground)
1/2tspchili flakes
1tsppaprika
1tspdried herbs (rosemary, thyme)
2tbspolive oil
2tsplemon juice
1tspbrown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In the meantime, using a rolling pin, flatten each chicken breast to about 2 cm. Make sure the chicken breast has the same thickness to ensure even cooking.
combine all your spices (oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, sugar, mixed herbs, black pepper, chili flakes) in a small bowl and mix well.
Season the chicken making sure that all parts are covered.
Transfer the chicken to a baking pan lined with baking paper, and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted to the center of the chicken breast reads 165°F.
Notes
Baking chicken breast in 400°F oven, uncovered, takes about 25 minutes. If unsure, use a meat thermometer to confirm that the chicken is heated through to 165°F.
Store cooled chicken breast in an airtight container; seal and refrigerate for upto 3 days.
To freeze, store cooled chicken breast in sealed airtight containers for up to 1 month.
However, don’t reheat leftover chicken breast more than one for best results; also make sure to heat it thoroughly when you do so.
